Suitability

Suitable for all skin types, including dry and sensitive skin. Laser settings are carefully adjusted to suit each client’s skin tone, sensitivity and desired outcome, with resurfacing depths ranging from level 5–20.

Consultation

A separate skin consultation is not required before booking the Baby Face laser facial, as the treatment is suitable for all skin types and fully customised during your appointment.

Duration

45–60 minutes, including a 20-minute numbing cream application.

• This laser treatment feels surprisingly comfortable, comparable to a mild sunburn. After 20 minutes of numbing under infrared light, the skin is fully desensitized. The laser application itself takes just 5 minutes.
• Please note: Thullium laser does not require eye protection, we work up to the eye line with the laser. The bean shown in the image is not the laser but a guide light for the therapist.

Pre-Care: Before You Visit 

 
Good to know:

 Suitable for all skin types, with energy levels and settings customised to your individual needs.
 Treatment results peak on day 10, so please book at least 10 days before an event.

We recommend preparing your skin with the right serum for 48 hours before and one month after treatment. With 90 percent absorbency through open microchannels, the right product elevates results by up to 50 percent.

Recommended serums to prepare:

For ageing, glow, and general skin health:** Vitamin C serum twice daily for 48 hours before treatment, then continue once daily for one month after.

For acne scarring,inflammatory hyperpigmentation, melasma, or rosacea. Tranexamic acid serum twice daily for 48 hours before treatment, then continue once daily for one month after. 

We recommend Mesoestetic Melan Tran3X Intensive Depigmentation Concentrate.

Please avoid:

- Prescription retinoids 5 days before treatment.
- Chemical exfoliants 3 days before treatment.
- Harsh chemical peels 1 month before treatment.
- Injectables 2 weeks before treatment.
- Sun-tanning or self-tanner 1 week before treatment.

Post-Care: The Flawless Facial

For the next 24 hours:

• Avoid wearing foundation for 24 hours. The microchannels are open post-treatment — keeping skin clean maximises results and avoids irritation.
• Avoid swimming, excessive exercise, saunas, and steam rooms for 24 hours.
• Apply a vitamin C serum twice daily for the first 48 hours to elevate and enhance your results.
• For acne scarring and PIH: Apply a Tranexamic acid serum twice daily for the first 48 hours, then once daily ongoing. We recommend the Mesoestetic Melan Tran3X Intensive Depigmentation Concentrate.

For the next 7 days:

• Avoid chemical exfoliants, including AHAs and BHAs, for 7 days.
• Avoid self-tanner for 7 days.
• Focus on hydration. We recommend KICHI Forever Oil, Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream (normal to dry skin), or Tatcha Water Cream (acne-prone skin).

For the next 14 days:

• Avoid direct sun exposure and use SPF 30 or higher daily. There's no need to stay indoors — we simply advise against deliberately sun-tanning the face.
• Avoid injectable treatments for two weeks. 

For the next month:

• Avoid chemical peels for one month and laser treatments for two weeks. 

Downtime and what to expect:

• The Flawless Facial has little to no downtime. Most clients leave the clinic with light redness that subsides quickly. At higher resurfacing levels, redness may last up to 24 hours.
• Sensitive skin types, including Rosacea, may experience redness the day after treatment. We adjust settings accordingly for these skin types.
• Your skin may feel dry and develop a subtle sandpaper texture for 5–7 days. This is completely normal and invisible to others — you can go about your normal routine.
• A laser purge is normal for acne-prone skin — this is a natural self-cleansing process that results in clearer skin over time.
• Around day 10, your skin will gently and invisibly shed, revealing a fresh, glowing complexion beneath.

• PIH correction requires a minimum of 6 sessions, with a noticeable improvement after each one. We also recommend adding a Salmon DNA Booster to further support pigmentation removal.
